Learn more
Collegium21 is a unique musical and educational event in the harp world. Her project is to highlight the harp of today by promoting encounters between composers and young harpists.
Articulated in two highlights, It offers the possibility for harpists of all levels to discover today's writings with a series of master class conducted by invited composers. A fortnight later, a competition followed whose program consists, for the most part, of creative works, commissions and repertory works discussed during master classes.
Because discovering the languages of today, approaching the profession of composer, and appropriating new modes of expression and modes of play are allexciting experiences, Collegium21, in A desire to share, also makes available on its website all the Videos of his master classes.
Set up since 2016 by Ghislaine Petit-Volta, Collegium21 is now taken over by the association “Les Signes de l'Arc” under the artistic co-direction of Ghislaine Petit-Volta and Laurence Bancaud.
The next edition of Collegium21 will take place in June 2023 at the C.R.R. in Paris: The master classes will take place on 3 and 4 June 2023 and the competition on 17 and 18 June 2023.
